  Union Day       February 12th Establishment of the Union of Myanmar being decided in the Panglong Agreement on Feb.12, 1947
  Peasant’s Day     March 2th
  Armed Forces Day    March 27th  in memory of the victory over Japanese Army on Mar. 27, 1945. It was formerly called anti-Janpanese Day, later changed into Armed Forces Day.
  Labour Day       May 1st
  Martyr’s Day     July 19th    commemorating the assassination of the General Aung San on July 19th, 1947.
