| China Donated USD200,000 to Myanmar Tsunami Victims |

On January 5, 2005, on the behalf of Chinese government and people, Mr. Li Jinjun, Ambassador of Chinese Embassy in Myanmar donated USD200, 000 to aid Myanmar victims of the Indian Ocean Tsunami. On behalf of Myanmar government and people, Maj-Gen Sin Htwa, Minister for Social welfare Relief & Resettlement accepted the aid fund from China.
Members of Chinese Embassy and Chinese funded companies and institutions in Myanmar are also actively donating for Myanmar victims. More than USD6000 has been collected so far. Chinese Embassy will soon deliver the donation to disaster relief section of Myanmar.
