NAY PYI TAW, 11 Jan - A ceremony to sign agreement between Myanma Electric Power Enterprise under the Ministry of Electric Power No 2 and Yunnan Machinery and Equipment Import and Export Co Ltd (YMEC) of the People's Republic of China on purchasing materials was held at the meeting hall of the ministry, here, yesterday.
Minister for Electric Power No 2 Maj-Gen Khin Maung Myint delivered an address and Vice-Chairman Mr Gao Chong Yun of YMEC spoke words of thanks.
Next, Managing Director of Myanma Electric Power Enterprise Dr San Oo and Mr Gao Chong Yun singed the documents and exchanged them. It was also attended by Minister for National Planning and Economic Development U Soe Tha, Minister for Electric Power No 1 Col Zaw Min, Attorney-General U Aye Maung, Deputy Minister for Industry -2 Lt-Col Khin Maung Kyaw, departmental heads and officials. |
