Myanmar CPT Minister meets Chinese Information Industry Deputy Minister

NAY PYI TAW, 29 Jan-Minister for Communications, Posts and Telegraphs Brig-Gen Thein Zaw met with the Chinese delegation led by Deputy Minister for Information Industry Mr Jiang Yaoping of the People's Republic of China at his office here at 10 am this morning. During the meeting, they cordially discussed the matters relating to present and future communications tasks.

Also present on the occasion were Deputy Minister Maj-Gen Thein Tun, heads of departments, Director-General Mr Wang Gang of Chinese Information Industry, Deputy Director-General Mr Qian Tingshuo and delegation members.

The Chinese delegation led by Deputy Minister for Information Industry Mr Jiang Yaoping of the People's Republic of China arrived here by air at 9 am today and they were welcomed by Deputy Minister Maj-Gen Thein Tun and officials.

The two deputy ministers discussed matters on bilateral cooperation in the communications sector at meeting hall of the ministry.

Deputy Minister Mr Jiang Yaoping and members toured Nay Pyi Taw in the afternoon. In the evening, Minister Brig-Gen Thein Zaw hosted dinner to the Deputy Minister and members at Golden Palace Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw Hotel Zone.
