Executive Vice-President and Sec-retary-General Madam Deng Nan Visited Myanmar during Nov. 29-Dec. 4, 2007.
The ceremony to sign Memorandum of Under-standing on science and technological coopera-tion between the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Union of Myanmar and Association for Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China was held at Dagon Hall of Sedona Hotel, on Dec. 29.
It was attended by Minister for Science and Technology U Thaung, Deputy Minister U Kyaw Soe, departmental heads of the ministry, Executive Vice-President and Sec-retary-General Madam Deng Nan and senior officials of the China Association for Science and Technology, Chinese Ambassador to the Union of Myanmar Mr Guan Mu, embassy staff and guests.
